List of Endangered Animals

Global warming and expanding human population has lead to the extinction of many animal species on earth.  The term endangered animals include all those groups of life forms that are facing a serious threat of extinction due to human induced factors such as deforestation, poaching, hunting, animal cruelty, animal experimentation, etc.

Endangered Animals Worldwide

Our planet is continually changing, causing habitats to be altered and modified. Natural changes tend to occur at a gradual pace, usually causing only a slight impact on individual species. However, when changes occur at a fast pace, there is little or no time for individual species to react and adjust to new circumstances.

One in four of the world’s mammals are now threatened with extinction in the near future, along with one in eight birds, one in five sharks, and one in three amphibians. The following animals occupy the priority status as per wildlife conservation requirements.
